Universal Flux
Universal Flux is a large scale steel mobile, hand engraved with abstract patterns of the natural world.
The sculpture is the representation of the science of cosmology told through an emotional, anthropological lens.
Focused on the generation of feelings of unity, the work is centred around an investigation into the constant flux of the atoms that exist in the universe, continuously being replaced in our bodies and moving from form to form, leading to a contemplation of our place in the bigger picture and the inescapable interconnectedness of everything around us.
